Why Omega-3 Matters

Fresh pasture naturally contains high levels of omega-3 fatty acids. However, these beneficial nutrients decline rapidly once grass is cut and dried into hay. Horses consuming large amounts of hay or hard feed can therefore receive significantly more omega-6 fatty acids than omega-3.

Mix the recommended daily amount into slightly dampened feed. The daily serving may be divided between two feeds if preferred. Scoop included.
